Our traveller friendly cancellation and change policy

All of Day With A Local team members travel frequently and we understand that sometimes plans change!

Especially at these special times, we do want to offer our guests a fair policy for changes and cancellation. At the same time, we have booked the time from our calendars. Please inform us about any changes as soon as possible.

During Covid19 pandemic (until further notice), our payment, cancellation and change policy is the following:

  • Payment is required one week before your Day With A Local, however we might offer you a discount or extra advantage for earlier payment.
  • If cancellation is made before payment, no charge is taken in the event of cancellation.
  • If cancellation is made between payment and 48 hours before your Day With A Local, 50 % is returned.
  • If a change to your booking is made between payment and 48 hours before your Day With A Local, time/date changes are subject to availability. If there is no availability for new requested time/date, 75 % is returned.)
  • If cancellation is made less than 48 hours before your Day With A Local, 25 % is returned.
  • If change is made less than 48 hours before your Day With A Local, time/date changes are subject to availability. If there is no availability for new requested time/date, 50 % is returned.
  • If cancellation occurs because of Day With A Local team (in emergencies or equivalent), 100 % is returned.
